Take your EDC to the next level with the Smith & Wesson Spring Assist OTF. This model features a spear point blade with a black finish and a plain edge. It has a durable aluminum handle with a grippy machined texture. It offers snappy spring assisted opening action with a push of the sliding button. A lock at the top of the handle conveniently releases the blade for manual closing. A sliding safety keeps the blade secure in the closed position until ready for use. Item includes a stainless steel pocket clip for tip-down carry.
Customer Reviews
Cons- it’s super bulky and the handle has sharp ridges that aren’t comfortable at all.. the picture makes it look like a subtle curve in the middle.. do not be fooled these are actually sharp and feel like they need to be sanded down and you immediately question the design upon opening it. I have 4 automatic knives in total and this was my least favorite and the same price as all the others. If you want an EDC then keep looking cause this thing will feel like a brick in your pocket and playing with it all day like I tried to do will annoy you. I was so annoyed with the sharp ridged handle that I took it to the grinder within the first 2 days... but then I realized it’s got the screws in the center of those annoying ridges so grinding them down isn’t an option... now I’m stuck with a thick bulky knife that’s not comfortable and a terrible design. It will be sitting in my knife drawer for years... save your money and get something else.
