9" Anomaly Stiletto Black Automatic Knife - Modified Bayonet

Very nice knife. Although made of plastic, it feels durable and It not as cheap as some of the other cheapo stilettos on the market. The mechanism is interesting and the opening is VERY strong. Even if you don't cut yourself, if you wack you're finger while opening this bad boy, it is going to sting. The blade is also pretty sharp. Easily cuts though cardboard and paper, but not much better than that unless you sharpen it.

This was my first purchase from BP and am very happy with shipping speed for 1st class mail.

Now, as far as this blade goes, you get what you pay for. It is an interesting piece but mine has a tweeked/bent back spring which causes the blade to not lock up 75% of the time. I have to put a little wrist into it when depressing button to get it to lock up. Neat little knife, no where near my AB, Hubertus or Bill DeShiv tho', but I knew that going into this purchase. Pointy as a needle. Mine seems to have a decent edge but this is just going on display.
If mine wasn't outta whack it would be worth the $16.99. Someone needs to do a little QC to prevent a knife like this from leaving the warehouse.

Part 2:
Okay, now that I fired this about 100 times it's now broken in. While the backspring is still a little crooked that isn't the major reason why this does not lock up. I've realized the button is really recessed as compared to my other Autos. You really need to push down on the button with the tip of your thumb and by doing so it will fire open and lock every time. Just after a few times your thumb tip may get a little sore. Now I can say it was worth the money!!

I've found that these less expensive knives require a break in period (of about 100 openings and a little wd-40) to work properly, so don't be to quick to judge them as defective. You get what you pay for now mine functions 99%.

It's got a lot of width to the handle, blade is tiny not in length but in width. Kind of an awkward looking knife, but not bad looking, but more unique. Opens fast as hell. Blade is super dull won't cut paper at all, very sharp tip though. I don't want to come off negative, but I think you'll either think it's unique in it's own right or weird and cheap looking.

Works great, feels good in hand, made good for price.
