Customer Reviews
The good: Its light. It opens fairly fast (after adjustment and lube), the blade seems to be real AUS-8.
The bad: pushing the open button is very grindy. The aluminum button is surely going to wear against the stainless blade. At first, the blade wouldn't open completely, so I took the knife apart and found out that the stainless blade rides directly on raised areas of the aluminum scales/liners. No washers of any type. So that would be good for low blade slack, but clearly is higher friction than phosphor-bronze bushings would be. So I ended up polishing the aluminum slightly, and lubing it, then using loctite on the main pivot screw to allow full opening, but minimized the blade slack. Its now acceptable in both areas, but if you aren't good with tools, this knife out-of-the-box might be a bit disappointing.
