The EVO is an excellent offering from AKC that brings quality at an accessible price point. The knife features a large stepped thumb slide, an anodized aluminum handle, and an AUS-8 blade. It has addicting, reliable action and solid lockup with minimal play. The blade shoots out straight with a wicked sharp edge.

I used my Spyderco tri-angle "Sharpmaker" to put a keen edge on the blade. (It will cleanly shave the hair from my arm without a single nick).
The only drawback with this knife is the pocket clip is too strong for use. A metalsmith can bend it a bit to reduce the tension.
Aside from the pocket clip, this knife is more than adequate for EDC. (Hint: it is better than the F-16 for daily use).
