I'm going to be honest at first it was hard as heck to open and close (even after I lubed it up and played with it for a couple days). Then I took it apart and stretched the spring just a little (don't pull it to far and ruin it, pull it some put 2 screws back in try it and if needed repeat). That doesn't bother me at all because I'd much rather have to stretch the spring a little than it be too weak already. I'm a Marine and will be buying more of these in different styles and sizes!!!!!
