I purchased this to open boxes. It's perfect! Durable construction, solid smooth mechanism, safety lock that operates w/the blade open or closed, excellent size/handling, lightweight and a belt/pocket clip. Like the other reviewer indicated, the blade is not sharp (it does have a good solid point though), but for my use, I don't need it to be. It's D2, have at it!

This is my first Automatic knife purchase and I am very pleased with the quality. Solid build and snappy. It feels good in my hand and it's not too small of a grip. The only downside was the blade was not sharp to my standards. I'm sure many people would be OK with it out of the box, but I had to have a better edge. It took some effort to sharpen as the D2 steel was way harder to sharpen than any other SS blade I have. After spending the time to sharpen it I am very very happy with this! I would buy this again! 4 stars only due to not being razor sharp!
