I really like these knives, they have a great smooth action so easy to carry don't feel them trying to pull your pants down. Love these line so much had to buy another one just because I loved the first one. Great bang for the buck. They also really look great. I got this one due to the matching blade and handle cover and the fact the blade was not serrated.

I bought this knife because of Dana S's review and I'm glad I did because it really is quite nice.

It's VERY sharp, blade deployment button tension requires less effort than my XHP Kalashnikov, and the texturing provides excellent grip.

This is my new EDC for work.

This is a great knife, and is comparable to the Boker AK-74. The differences are that this knife has no identifiable steel type, so it must be assumed that it's 440, AND, the spring is not as strong as the Boker. However, if you actually really pay attention to the Boker release and lock up, you'll discover through listening and watching that the spring is WAY too strong on the Boker knife. (I have way too much time on my hands, but still). This is b/c the Bokers, (which I dearly love) fire much too hard, and they actually double fire, as I call it. Which means that they actually hit the stop pin TWICE! You can hear an audible double click, AND you can see that the blade hits the stop pin, bounces back, and then resets into the correct position.

This knife does not do that, but has the correct amount of tension to hit the stop pin and lock up on the first hit. I realize that many people, (myself included) LOVE the hard-hitting fire of the Boker knives, but it is really not necessary to have a spring that strong.

This knife fires exactly with the right amount of force, locks into place, and stays there with no blade play at all. And, it's $10 less than the Boker, which is very cool as well, if you're a tightwad like me.

Mine came very sharp, and I've had no issues at all with it. You should give it a try it you like the Boker, but wanna save a few dollars. Very worth the money in my opinion.
