Description

The Coffin Blaster is a big bang for such a small size. The dual action sliding button has great action, smoothly opening and closing the spear point blade. The blade has a black coating and is double edged so it's twice as effective and efficient. The handle is gold colored aluminum and has a lanyard hole in the end, so it's perfect for connecting to a keychain, a backpack, or for including in your fishing, camping, or backpacking gear.

Won't be opening very many boxes with this before throwing it away. The handle is nice, but the blade wobbles. Not a good value.

There are not a lot of budget micro OTF knives out there. This little firecracker is one of the few that is readily available.

The knife itself functions fine and is as described. Decent deal for the money. Just don't expect any type of quality with these. They are fun little novelty blades. Nothing more, nothing less. My knife came about as sharp as a butter knife, so you'll most likely have to spend quite a bit of time sharpening/re-profiling the edge on yours as well.

Because it is so compact and so it has proved reliable on deployment, I use my to open boxes, letters, and other lightweight cutting task.

Now I write this while holding my own firecracker, Gold finish of course. Buyer beware this is not a day to day, or a knife you can always pull out and depend on. While the picture up top may seem nice and sturdy, in reality the blade is very thin and flimsy. 440 mystery steel, what do you expect. The casing seems to get a bunch of scratches over time that are very noticeable on the Gold finish. All that aside the knife is very fun to use and firm on the hand. While barely weighting 1oz you can feel the weight of the mechanical components pushing the blade up and down with power. If you are a fan of the OTF's this is a must have as a fun little collectible. Just don't go off thinking you can slice and dice everything with this one.

I was a little sketchy about ordering this and than I got it and was amazed of the quality of it this little OTF. Fires hard up and down, there is barely any blade play, and it comes sharp out of the box. I sharpened it more but it slices through paper easier than a hot knife through butter. I will definitely be purchasing more of these
