I purchased an akc f-16 and this knife on the same order and the akc f-16 is terrible but this knife is great. Sharp and smooth action. Well worth the money. Save your money and purchase this one if you are on the fence between the two.

I couldn't tell you how many times I deployed and retracted the blade while watching TV the evening it arrived. My thumbs are raw, but it's totally worth it.

I slicked up the action and reduced spring noise by spraying oil into the handle while the blade was retracted. If the oil attracts pocket lint, there are screws for disassembly.

Great entry level OTF knife for the money.

I didn't want to pay the big money for a Benchmade or Microtech OTF so after watching reviews on youtube I went with the Lightning. This thing fires fast and smooth with no problems. The aluminum case is built solid and put together well. I am not disappointed and would recommend this knife to anyone who wants an OTF without having to pay big money. Some of the reviews pointed out a defect in the design on the handle. But this one doesn't have it, so they must have made another cast for it.
