The box shape of the handle is slightly dangerous. There is no bottom guard to keep your hand from slipping into the blade. Not to worry, this doesn't need to be a stabbing blade. It seems to work best as a slashing blade.
The action on it is incredibly fast for both actions. OTF is the way to go for one handed application and it is highly ambidextrous (I am and the knife easily in both hands). There is a safety on the blade release; it will puncture what it hit, but will disengage and come off track; it appears broken, actually. It's not. grab the safe part of the blade and pull forward until it re-engages and it will return to regular function.
It works and works and works …
So far it has kept a decent edge. I have not had any issue with it. Also, this type of knife is quite intimidating (as demonstrated by friends I've shown it to, most don't even want to touch it after showing the fearful look at the launch speed).
Needs to be added to any collection. It's also a great EDC if it's legally carried in your state.
