It has an OD green aluminum handle with notched grooves for added grip security. The knife offers snappy spring assisted opening action with a push of the thumb slide. A lock at the top of the handle conveniently releases the blade for manual closing. A safety switch keeps the blade secure in the closed position until ready for use. Item includes a stainless steel pocket clip for tip-down carry.

Well, I ordered this thing after watching the video, and I have to say, it's the closest thing to an auto without really being an auto. Very clever design to avoid the stupid switchblade law. It operates, in appearance, exactly like a single action OTF, but really, it's different, in that you have to move the blade yourself with the lever, but it feels just like an auto. It isn't, but it's very close.
I loved it when I first got it, and I operated it a couple hundred times, as I do all my autos when I get them. Everything was tight and good when I got it, but after about 2 weeks, the blade got really loose, both from side to side, and up and down. I've never even cut anything with it, and this happened. I hate to leave a bad review b/c the rest of my reviews are good, but maybe I just got a bad one. I'm pretty disappointed at this point. I think this is the first negative review I've left, b/c I'm normally very happy with everything I've gotten here.
One other thing I have noticed, and again, maybe it's just my knife, but the ejection has gotten weaker as well, and I have had several misfires where it did not come out all the way and did not lock into place. I've never carried it or used it, so it's not b/c it's dirty or anything, so not sure what the deal is.
It certainly won't keep me from ordering other knives here, b/c these guys are great. Just a little bummed about this one.

Got one of these for Christmas. My first OTF assisted opening knife. Love it! The blade jumps out when you push the thumb slide. No issues with operating the release/cocking mechanism. I like the quality of the knife as well. Can't beat it for an under $40 automatic knife.
