I love S&W guns and most of their other knives being an outdoorsman and knife enthusiast but this knife is designed poorly from start to finish. Unlike other S&W safety systems on knives, this one is a two handed design making it impractical for quick or emergency use which is the point for getting an OTF automatic knife. The sliding mechanism for retracting the blade is larger an more pronounced than the pictures make it out to be, either with creative photography or shipping old inventory with a different model. When ejecting the blade, if not holding the knife with your fingertips, the slide mechanism catches on your fingers slowing ejection or stoping it altogether. The build was sturdy and the blade sharp but the downfalls far outweighed the positive of this returned knife.
Eh... can do better.

Pros- this knife is high quality, smooth opening, nice blade and no blade wiggle.

Cons- it’s super bulky and the handle has sharp ridges that aren’t comfortable at all.. the picture makes it look like a subtle curve in the middle.. do not be fooled these are actually sharp and feel like they need to be sanded down and you immediately question the design upon opening it. I have 4 automatic knives in total and this was my least favorite and the same price as all the others. If you want an EDC then keep looking cause this thing will feel like a brick in your pocket and playing with it all day like I tried to do will annoy you. I was so annoyed with the sharp ridged handle that I took it to the grinder within the first 2 days... but then I realized it’s got the screws in the center of those annoying ridges so grinding them down isn’t an option... now I’m stuck with a thick bulky knife that’s not comfortable and a terrible design. It will be sitting in my knife drawer for years... save your money and get something else.

Great blade, very sharp, lightning fast blade release I love the way it feels in the hand you can feel the power of the spring when fired no blade wobble. My only complaint is the the lock dose not stay engaged if you were to stab into anything even cardboard it will retract into the handle slightly. Then you have to draw it back and fire again. Other then that its a great cutting knife.

This model looks the coolest out of this series of knives. Kind of looks like a Benchmade infidel. It is far superior to the schrade viper series. Has no bladeplay at all. Blade is razor sharp and pointier than a needle. Build and handle feel very solid and are a sturdy metal. Has great weight to it. The buttons and levers all function beautifully and the blade action is very fast. The glass breaker is small but feels very hard and could do some decent damage. The only small issue I have is that the blade release is located at the base of the blade and since u push it down to allow you to retract the blade, if you were to use the knife for self defense and you stabbed all the way through the blade, then you might push in the release and the blade would then be loose and you would have to pull it back and redeploy it. But that's just my thought on the design. Overall it's a very well made knife that looks great and sells out fast. Get it while you can.
