Boker Kalashnikov Black Aluminum OTF Automatic Knife - Bowie Black SW Plain

I bought this knife as an upgrade because after having the Lightning Elite for a while I finally lost it. I beat the hell out of that knife and it was great. Sure I had to sharpen it often, but no problems. I've had this knife for about a month now and about 1/8" of the tip broke off.

I'll keep using it, but I didn't expect it to be so fragile.

This thing is well made. You feel it right out of the box. The precision manufacturing is impressive. Boker is a brand I will have to recommend.

When the knife arrived I had several people over. When the knife extends, it sounds a bit like a telescopic baton expanding. There is a ring to the click, and the spring is quite strong. I handed the knife around for people to handle. Everyone loved the feel in their hands. Women had no issues holding or opening or closing. Yet it fits my large hands and long fingers perfectly. I really can't imagine anyone being disappointed with this knife once they get it. Mine came with a nice carrying case I wasn't expecting.

Blade is nice and sharp right out of the box. Timely processing, shipping and delivery. If you're looking at a knife in the $75-$100 range, spend a little more and grab this one while you can. Fantastic knife.

Very well built knife. A little stiff at first but a few drops of WD-40 and it’s smooth as butter now. I purchased the lightning OTF from GW before this one. The lightning was great for the price, but you can definitely feel the difference in the action between the two. The Boker is well worth the money. So far with hundreds of cycles, no failures. Highly recommend

I was so excited to receive my knife and after I received it I opened like ten times now its stuck and I can barely open it

This is the best sub $150 OTF you can buy. The D2 steel is tank tough and the deploy on this knife is strong yet effortless on the switch. I think Boker took a lot of thought into the Kalashnikov OTF and I've EDC'd this for months. I touch it up with a pocket sharpener and it just keeps slicing. I cut everything from cardboard to rope and even hard rubber. If you want an entry OTF but want quality build and steel this is it.

This thing is a beast! Smooth strong, and fast! It is not a cheap knife by any means. The firing is awesome. There's so much you can say, but not easy to find the right words. I'm very happy with this.
