I received this knife about 2 days before writing this review, and since then, I have opened and closed it about 200 times it seems, and every single time this knife doesn't disappoint, opening is smooth, crisp, and downright epic. The switch is slightly stiff, but I remedied that with some fishing reel grease. When retracting the blade, it is a bit loud, but you can fix that with a bit of felt on the glass breaker end of the knife on the inside. The grip stuff came a bit loose, but I fixed that with some super-glue, the stuff is like sandpaper, and feels like if one was to pocket carry this knife it would tear the pocket up, but luckily I won't. The blade, being stainless steel feels as solid as d2, sharpening is still questionable, haven't tried it yet. The knife is quite heavy, and is thicker and larger than displayed in the pictures, and you like smaller otfs this probably isn't the greatest option. Other than those, the knife is amazing and performs well, especially for the price point. Had a gift card and left me with just enough for a nice green monster.

Fires real nice open close but the paint job and the grippy texture it came with paint is already chipped and as a matter fact when I got it it was already chipped a few places had it for one or two days and all the grips started falling off now I've taking them all off Other than that pretty decent firing mechanism

While longevity is still an open question, my initial reaction is pretty positive. The action is quick and crisp and blade play is minor when keeping in mind the price point here. The blade is well honed. If i had a complaint it would be a lack of safety switch, but thats overcome with the belt carrier. I for one am not a belt carrier guy. Fingers crossed. Obviously Chinese products are famous for built in obsolescence, Im hopeful about this ones staying power. Thanks Grindworx!
