For the price this punning shear is a good deal. I bought two pair. The belt sheath is a great accessory and keeps them safe from loss. Both sets of shears had one tiny chip in the cutting blade out of the package. After stoning off the bur the chip had no effect to their cutting ability. They work fine for small limbs, and branches they are intended for. Anything bigger than an inch in size is pushing their intended use; however, they are sharp and strong and with care likely can cut bigger limbs of softer woods and bushes. The handles are made of aluminum making them lightweight to carry. They work much better and safer than hacking down brush with a big sharp machete. They cut cleanly and pose less danger when holding limbs and cutting them. I like them and am happy with their performance.
