Youtube doesn't ever look at this knife from my point of view, The ''talking hands'' that blabber about these OTF's (and drool over $800 ones) are usually just a inch away from mall ninja's. I look at these as if I'm back in 1972, and it's so novel every young man should have one. Back when all knives had to be sharpened after hard use. It was no big deal. I could easily live with no dumb pocket computer that sometimes rings like a telephone, and when no one was a knife expert. It is what it is, and it's GREAT. Mine has been sharpened on my Wicked Edge Gen 3 Pro to 3000 grit, then polished down to 5 micron with lapping films. Has a mirror edge, and could well be the sharpest Lightning Elite in the World! It's my EDC. And the price is right, and doesn't rattle like my $300 Microtech Ultratech did right outa the box

Have had a bunch of other OTF knives, but every one has broken after less then 3 months. They weren’t the best, but still thought they would be ok to use. But the LIGHTNING has changed my mind, this is awesome. Fast as heck, even after a year, only thing I’ve had to do is tighten the screws a few times, and keep it clean. Thanks, I’ll definitely be ordering again.

As the previous review stated mine also came with several chipped places on the handle finish but other than that it seems to be ok quality. But when you buy something new you don’t expect it to look used

Quick, smooth action and sharpens up to a razor finish

Ordered this along with a few others. Works great and sharpened easily to a razor finish on my Knife works belt sharpener. Only reason I take a star off is it was loose in box and some of the handle finish chipped off. About what I expected for a $35 OTF.
