Linder Contour 8 Bowie Wood Handle Fixed Blade Knife - Polish Plain

Handmade in Solingen, Germany, the Linder Contour 8 Large Bowie knife has a polished, stainless steel bowie-style blade with the swedge extending along 2/3 of the blade. It has a hidden tang and the Cocobolo wood handle is contoured to accommodate many hand sizes and still be comfortable. The straight quillon, or hand-guard, and pommel are a nickel-silver alloy, with the soft, polished effect of silver, but more resistant to tarnishing. The quillon is long enough to safeguard your valuable hand, but not so long as to prove cumbersome. The pommel has a lanyard boll at the very end and includes a real leather lanyard.

The balance of this bowie knife is centered right about the quilllon, making it comfortable to handle--something we find becomes more important the larger the knife gets.

The black leather sheath is well-made and bears the Linder brand stamp. With a belt loop at the top, a real leather lanyard at the tip, and a hook-and-loop fastener, this is a pretty, serious sheath for a pretty, serious blade.
